INVESTMENT BY BOSCH REXROTH IN BRUSA HYPOWER

       Hydraulic Motors leading experts in off-road hydraulic fields invest in Electric Vehicle Pioneers; the two sides hope to strengthen cooperation in the development and marketing of mobile working electromechanical drives.

Bosch Rexroth recently announced an investment in Br HyPower through the acquisition of a minority stake to strengthen cooperation in the off-road market and the development and marketing of electric drives. The investment is aimed at supporting Bosch Rexroth's Elion portfolio through the electrification of off-road vehicles. In addition, implementing this power-driven architecture will reduce carbon dioxide emissions and make operations quieter.

Ulm Zurich, Switzerland -- Bosch Rexroth has taken a minority stake in Br Hypower AG and wants to increase cooperation in the off-road vehicle market. With Br HyPower products, Bosch Rexroth complements its Elion Portfolio for off-road vehicle electrification, enabling customers to quickly and easily implement an electric drive architecture. This means that mobile work machines used in construction, agriculture, logistics or public services can work without generating any local emissions, making them greener and quieter. Bosch Rexroth acquired a corresponding stake in Br HyPower on July 4,2022. The two sides have agreed to keep the amount of the investment confidential. Since 1985, Br has been dedicated to the development of high-performance components for electric vehicles for civilian applications. BR HYPOWER AG was founded in the 2021 and currently has about 220 employees focusing on power conversion systems. For Bosch Rexroth, the Swiss company will develop and manufacture the most efficient and rugged new products for mobile machinery.

A large proportion of CO2 emissions come from work on construction sites, in ports or in the mining industry. This is where Bosch Rexroth is working to electrify mobile devices. Bosch Rexroth offers a comprehensive portfolio of electrified components through its eLION series to support and advance the electrification of off-road equipment. The eLION series includes up to 80 motor models, scaled for output and size, corresponding gear units, inverters, software solutions and state-of-the-art hydraulic systems. Looking ahead, Br HyPower's DC/DC converters and car chargers will complement this wide range of products.
